Sheraspace launches Bangla website and seeks to make interior design services accessible to everyone

Sheraspace, an accessory technology startup with a focus on interior design, announced the launch of a Bengali language version of its website on February 21. The company did not have a Bengali language website before and people could only access its services through its English language website. The move comes as the digital interior design services company seeks to make interior services accessible to more people and accelerate its growth.

In a blog post announcing the launch, the company writes, “February 21, 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of the great Bengali language movement – ​​a chapter of great significance in the educational history of Bangladesh. In humble tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Language Martyrs, the Sheraspace website has now been launched in Bengali at: sheraspace.com/bn_BD. At Sheraspace, we believe interior design shouldn’t be just for the rich, but accessible to everyone. Therefore, in this effort to democratize interior design and make it accessible to everyone in Bangladesh, we believe it is important to do so in the language in which our customers feel most comfortable.

Expand the market and build deeper connections

This move is part of Sheraspace’s strategic ambition to make interior design accessible to everyone. “There is a pre-existing notion in Bangladesh that interior design is for the wealthy and an interior project requires a huge investment of time, effort and money. This is exactly what Sheraspace is challenging today. We work to democratize interior design by making it accessible to everyone through an affordable, short-term, hassle-free solution that consumers can use from the comfort of their home.

Accessibility has two aspects: affordability and understanding. The company has already implemented several initiatives in this direction, including the launch of an online interior design consultation service at affordable flat rates and the simplicity and accessibility of the entire process.

Sheraspace’s Bengali website, however, allows a real democratization of its services. It should also allow the company to expand its market. In Bangladesh, the English-speaking population and those fluent in English are a relatively small minority. To that end, Sheraspace’s new website may enable it to reach a new group of customers who previously could not access its services due to language barriers.

Language is more than just a communication tool. Language is emotion. Language is love. For many people, it is not only essential that people can access their service in their own language, but it improves their whole experience and their relationship when this service is offered in their native language. The new website should help Sheraspace establish an intimate relationship with many of its customers.

Interior design is a big market in Bangladesh, with some industry insiders suggesting it could easily exceed $1 billion.
